Japanese Village Free Child's Ticket - 1973

In the little home movie from yesterday's post we got a quick glimpse of Japanese Village (identified by Major, thank you !). So if you want to go spend the there, here's a free child's ticket from 1973. Also good for 10% off admission to Movieland Wax Museum.

Affix (who says that word anymore?) 6 Pepsi cap liners to the back? Sounds like a sticky mess to me..

The Fuji Folk! I remember being at Japanese Village on a VERY hot day summer day right after the Fuji Folk were introduced, but they were nowhere to be found. I think an employee told us that they didn't come out if the temp. was too high, so my brother and I had our picture taken with just a plywood cutout of the Fuji Folk instead.

The back of that coupon reminds me of a Disneyland/Pepsi promotion from around the same time. After popping the caps off of the bottle, you'd look inside the cap to find various attractions from the park on the plastic liner. If I remember correctly, you had to peel these from the inside of the cap and "affix" them to a DL map that was available at the Pepsi display in the grocery store. Does anyone else remember that promotion? I don't remember what the prize was, but I do remember that we never had enough to win or claim anything. I wish I had that map and those bottle cap liners today!

WOW, awesome! I've never seen a ticket from Japanese Village (at least, not since I went there).

TokyoMagic!, that promotion sounds mighty familiar...
